The Nobel Day 2023
On 10 December the Nobel Prizes will be awarded in Stockholm and Oslo. Welcome to celebrate with us at the Nobel Prize Museum.
During the Nobel Day, the museum is filled with festive activities – follow the live broadcast from the Nobel Prize award ceremonies in Oslo and Stockholm, listen to a cellist play or join a guided tour of the autumn exhibition Fungi – in art and science. In the exhibition Nobel Creations, you can experience fashion interpretations of this year’s Nobel Prizes through dresses created by students at Beckmans School of Design. Families and curious children are welcome to our workshop for festive crafts, between 11:00 and 16:00 and take the opportunity to find Christmas gifts as the shop offers a 10% discount on this day.

Nobel Week Lights
Nobel Week Lights is a festival lighting up Stockholm during the darkest time of the year – a free cultural experience that you shouldn’t miss!
The light festival is presented by the Nobel Prize Museum and invites both international and local artists, designers, and students to create public light artworks inspired by the Nobel Prize. The light installations illuminate the Nobel Prize laureates’ scientific discoveries, literature, and peace work, while at the same time giving us the opportunity to see the city and the urban environment with new eyes together with loved ones.
