10% for the ocean is a transformative initiative that aims to harness the power of collective funding to help catalyse the critical capabilities needed to effectively and efficiently advance ocean recovery and achieve environmental sustainability.

Today, the ocean receives less than 1% of all global charitable giving, making it the least funded of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By creating a single action point for the ocean, 10% For The Ocean convene and support a global community of funders to collaboratively support initiatives that have the potential to enable enduring and large-scale change. Their aggregated giving fund diversifies grant monies across pre-vetted ocean causes worldwide.
