2024 was a big year for elections worldwide and with so many people talking about decision-making, it sometimes feels that our systems for making decisions need updating. We brought together minds from science and beyond, to discuss and explore the powerful forces that shape our decisions and how we navigate the digital age and the future of decision-making.

Among those that joined us was peace prize laureate Tawakkol Karman. In this conversation Karman tells her story of her determination to bring peace and democracy in the Middle East:

Swedish soprano Malin Byström and Czech conductor Petr Popelka performed at the annual Nobel Prize Concert at Konserthuset Stockholm, on 8 December 2024.

Together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Byström and Popelka made the Nobel Prize Concert a magnificent musical celebration of science. The audience included HM The King and HM The Queen of Sweden as well as the 2024 Nobel Prize laureates and a number of Nobel Prize laureate alumni.
