We would like to invite you to the Summer Beer Meetup in the Stockholm area -
an outdoor homebrewing event and competition for homebrewers, arranged by Humlegårdens Ekolager on the grass outside our warehouse!
Here you as a brewer have a chance to meet up and showcase your beer, and the visitors have a chance to taste all the beers and vote for best in show.
The Summer Beer Meetup takes place in the afternoon of
Saturday the 20th of August. For homebrewers, this is a great opportunity to meet peers, to discuss, compare and get inspired about all things related to beer and homebrewing. And of course, to enjoy good food, good company and good beer!
This year the winner will receive a first class prize:
A brew session at the Weyermann® brewery in Bamberg, Germany. This includes travel and stay for one person. Bamberg lies in the heart of Franken, and is home to some of the best smoked beers in the world, as well as other traditional lager styles. It also has a wonderful Old Town and many traditional brewery pubs to visit.
If you decide to enter as a brewer, we expect you to bring at least 9 liters. It is for the visitors to taste and vote for the beers they favour the most. It is also possible to register and enter with other fermented beverages (such as cider, mead, kombucha, wine). Please note that only homemade fermented beverages are allowed (no commercial brews or distilled spirits.)
Please note that you need to sign up in advance as a brewer or as a guest to be allowed to join the meetup.
How do you sign up?
You can sign up either as a guest (visitor) or as a brewer. You can not enter with commercially produced beer (or beverages), homebrews only. You have to be over the age of 20 to register.
