On 7-9 February it’s Stockholm Fashion Week AW22! As in previous editions, the overarching themes will continue to revolve around sustainability and innovation – core values to the Swedish fashion industry. This time, the fashion week format is smaller and more intimate than usual and presents both physical and digital events. Under the headline Exploring the “New Normal”, invited designers will present different solutions to how to adapt and develop in a business in transition. They will share ideas and inspiration on new business models, seasonal formats, collection structures, and on how to make, offer, communicate and consume fashion responsibly, contributing to a circular system.

In parallel to Stockholm Fashion Week and running for the whole week after, Fashion Week Trade is arranged at Stockholm Fashion District and online. When the doors open on 7 February, 400 collections by Swedish and international brands await the visitors.

Fashion Week Trade is an important meeting place for buyers and others in the industry. New for this season is that interior- and design collections are also shown.

Stockholm Fashion District is a unique and innovative business meeting place with digital and physical showrooms open every day of the year. They host trade focused fashion weeks and fairs as well as seminars and other knowledge-sharing events. The district is visited by designers, international delegations, e-commerce- and retail actors along with many others.

Swedish Business and Market Days coming up in Berlin on 17-18 June, offering opportunities for design companies to showcase their brands
The Embassy of Sweden in Berlin is planning to arrange Swedish Business and Market Days in Berlin and will open up the plaza of the Nordic Embassies to a German audience.

The ambition is to support and promote Swedish companies and organizations by offering a platform to showcase brands to German partners as well as the public audience. Under the summer sky, the plaza will be filled with Swedish food, lectures, musical acts and Swedish companies ranging from the field of design to mobile solutions. The program of the first day will be dedicated to business panels and B2B-events, while the second day will have a more festive character. Sustainability will run as a green thread throughout the event.

The Embassy would like to get in contact with interested fashion- and design brands.
