New calls for cooperation projects in the Baltic Sea Region 
The Swedish Institute seeks to strengthen Sweden's relations and develop cooperation with the countries around the Baltic Sea and the countries of the Eastern Partnership.

The Swedish Institute provides funding for project cooperation in the region. During the autumn we have new calls for our two financing instruments; Seed funding for cooperation projects and funding for Third Country Participation.

Funding for third country participation 
> The call is open!
> Deadline: 18 October 2018 


Third Country Participation in the Baltic Sea Region offers Swedish actors the opportunity to apply for project funding for the inclusion of actors from Russia or the countries of the EU Eastern Partnership in a current EU project or a flagship within the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

Basic facts: 
> Main applicant based in Sweden
> Duration up to 2 years
> Funding up to SEK 350.000 for a 1-year project
> Funding up to SEK 700.000 for a 2-year  project

The funding for third country participation is available for organisations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation, Sweden and Ukraine. 
 
Seed funding for cooperation projects
> The call opens beginning November 2018
> Deadline: 5 February 2019


The Swedish Institute provides funding for cooperation projects in which Swedish organisations meet transnational challenges together with organisations from the Baltic Sea Region countries and the countries of the Eastern Partnership.

Basic facts: 
> Main applicant based in Sweden
> Duration up to 1.5 years
> Seed funding up to SEK 500.000

The Swedish institute will arrange information seminars for Swedish main applicants in November and December.

The seed funding is available for organisations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russian Federation, Sweden and Ukraine.
